The full range of Yeoman CL Stoves

How long should a wood burning stove last

While each month seems to bring an array of new wood-burning and multifuel stoves to the marketplace, the Yeoman range of CL Stoves is still as popular today as it ever has been. A growing focus on stoves which can be used in smoke control areas has played into the hands of companies such as Yeoman Stoves who recognised the shifting trend many years ago.

We will now take a look at the full range of Yeoman CL stoves and see exactly what they have to offer.

Yeoman CL5 Midline Wood-Burning and Multifuel Stove

The Yeoman CL5 Midline stove comes in wood-burning and multifuel variations and the first thing you will notice is the integration of the a very useful log store. This not only allows you to store sufficient logs to see you through the day but it also raises the body of the stove improving the viewing area and minimising space requirements.

While the design is of a boxed nature this is enhanced by the rounded edges and the extended viewing area. Heat output is between 2.5 kW and 7 kW creating a nominal 4.9 kW output machine which is complemented by the latest clean burn and airwash systems. It is not difficult to see why this particular range is popular when you consider the 85% efficiency rating, energy efficiency class A certificate and the option of a top or rear flue. As with the full range of Yeoman CL stoves this particular model is licenced for use in smoke control areas.

Yeoman CL5 Highline Wood-Burning and Multifuel Stove

As you can see from the image, the Yeoman CL5 Highline stove has a larger log storage facility than the Yeoman CL5 midline stove which ensures even greater space efficiency. Also available for use in smoke control areas the Yeoman CL5 Highline stove offers heat output of between 2.5 kW and 7 kW creating a machine which is 85% efficient with a nominal 4.9 kW output. The energy efficiency class A certificate is complemented by the clean burn technology and latest airwash system. The stove has a stainless steel handle with a self locking function for enhanced safety and a 5 inch flue with top or rear exit options.

When you look at the style, the space-saving and the heat output it is not difficult to see why models such as the Yeoman CL5 Highline stove are still popular today, some years after their introduction. Subtle, understated but a very efficient and very attractive wood-burning/multifuel stove.

Yeoman CL3 Multifuel Stove

The Yeoman CL3 multifuel stove is the smallest in the Yeoman CL range and described by the manufacturer as a “small stove, big impression”. The square design with curved edges offers a touch of traditional with a hint of contemporary. As a consequence, it is perfectly at home amongst traditional or contemporary decor and will very quickly become a focal point of your room.

The Yeoman CL3 multifuel stove has heat output of between 2 kW and 5 kW creating a nominal 3.75 kW machine. The efficiency rating is a very impressive 86%, the stove has an energy efficiency class A rating as well as clean burn, airwash system and it is approved for use in smoke control areas. Again, the Yeoman CL stove stainless steel handle with self locking system is part of the basic Yeoman CL3 multifuel stove with a 5 inch flue offering top/rear connection. A small machine but one which certainly packs a punch!

Yeoman CL5 Wood-Burning and Multifuel stove

Yeoman stoves realised at a very early stage that demand for wood-burning and multifuel stoves would grow in years to come. As a consequence the Yeoman CL5 stove is available in both wood-burning and multifuel variations. Many people may not realise but in line with the rest of the Yeoman CL range the Yeoman CL5 stove is authorised for use in smoke control areas. While even the basic model is extremely elegant and easy on the eye, there is the option to acquire a decorative cast top, to give a little more style.

The Yeoman CL5 wood-burning and multifuel stove has a heat output of between 2.5 kW and 7 kW with an efficiency rating of up to 85%. The stainless steel handle has a self locking function for improved efficiency and safety, the 5 inch flue can be top or rear fitted and the stove comes with both clean burn and airwash systems. It is sometimes easy to forget and take for granted the fact that Yeoman has been able to pack so much into a relatively small machine. A space-saving extremely efficient stove – what more can you ask for?

Yeoman CL7 Multifuel Inset Stove

While it is difficult to see how Yeoman can make any of the CL stove range even more space-saving, the introduction of the Yeoman CL7 multifuel inset stove literally takes the biscuit. This is a beautifully crafted insert stove which means it can be installed in even more homes, especially those where space may be at a premium. Described as contemporary, this is a highly efficient, eye-catching stove which can also be used in smoke control areas when fitted with the smoke control kit.

The heat output for the Yeoman CL7 multifuel inset stove is between 3 kW and 8 kW creating a 7 kW nominal output machine. The ability to burn a variety of different fuel adds to the efficiency with an official efficiency rating of up to 87%. When you consider the clean burn system, airwash technology as well as the energy efficiency class A certificate, you may begin to wonder what next, well there is an optional boiler system with the stove. The Yeoman CL7 multifuel inset stove also has stainless steel handles with a self locking function and an optional top/rear 5 inch flue. All in all, one of the better insert stoves you will ever see.

Yeoman CL8 Wood-Buring and Multifuel Stove

Many people are under the misapprehension that the Yeoman CL stove range is heavily focused on relatively small rooms when this is not the case. The Yeoman CL8 wood-burning and multifuel stove is designed for larger rooms with heat output of between 4 kW and 11 kW creating an 8 kW machine. Depending upon the type of fuel used, the efficiency rating is up to 81% which is further enhanced by the energy efficiency class A registration, clean burn system, airwash and optional boiler.

As we touched on above, it is difficult to see how Yeoman stoves have managed to introduce a traditional design yet, with a few curved edges, offer a glimpse of contemporary. The enlarged viewing area is vital for many people allowing them to watch the flickering flames and the burning embers while they drift off to sleep. Stylish, powerful, eye-catching yet extremely space conscious, it is not difficult to see why the Yeoman CL8 wood-buring and multifuel stove has proven to be extremely popular.

Yeoman CL Milner Multifuel Inset Stove

The Yeoman CL Milner multifuel inset stove has been specifically designed for easy installation in fireplaces 16 inches – 18 inches in width and 20 inches – 22 inches in height. As the name suggests, the design of the insert fire means that the Milner Brick does not need to be removed thereby avoiding a whole array of additional work. Assuming your chimney is in good working order there is a good chance that a flue liner will not be required although the chimney would need to be well maintained and cleaned on a regular basis.

The Yeoman CL Milner multifuel inset stove has a nominal heat rating of 5 kW offering between 2 kW and 6 kW in output. Due to the way in which the machine is installed, into an existing fireplace and potentially no need for a flue, the efficiency rating is slightly less than the other CL stoves at up to 76%. However, it is still worth noting the machine can be used in smoke control areas, has energy efficiency class A approval, incorporates the latest clean burn system and airwash technology. Again, like others in the Yeoman CL range, the door has a stainless steel handle with a self locking function but the 6 inch flue is restricted to top exit for obvious reasons. Stylish, eye-catching, extremely easy to install and taking up little space, it is no surprise that the Yeoman CL Milner multifuel inset stove is so popular.
