Product Description

While there continues to be strong consumer demand for traditional designed stoves, there is also a strong market for contemporary cylindrical machines. Step forward the Kassel woodburning stove which as you can see looks the part and thankfully it is the part. This is one of the latest stoves from the Penman Collection, a machine which allows you to burn both wood and solid fuel. As regulators, businesses and consumers become more aware of environmental issues, this has placed huge pressure on stove manufacturers. Thankfully, the Kassel stove lives up to these high expectations!

The first thing to remember is that the Kassel multifuel stove is DEFRA approved which means that it can be used to burn wood in smoke control areas. While regulations are fairly tight today, they will tighten even further in the coming months and years. Consequently, more consumers will be aware of and be looking for DEFRA approval before buying a stove. This is the perfect opportunity to remind ourselves that the Kassel multifuel stove also has an A+ energy rating which is effectively a regulatory stamp of approval. As well as emissions, there is also huge focus on efficiency. Using the latest in combustion technology, where fuel is burnt and re-burnt to reduce emissions and maximise heat, the Kassel woodbuning stove has an 80% efficiency rating.

Turning now to the stove specifications, it offers a beautiful cylindrical design with an expanded curved glass viewing area. As you can see from the image, the log store adds what many see as the perfect finishing touch. This is quite a tall stove with dimensions of height 957 mm, width 520 mm and a depth of 413 mm with a nominal heat output of 5 kW. This is enough to heat a small to medium size room and will still take the chill off a larger room. However, just as important for many consumers is the presence the stove design has created. It is eye-catching, contemporary styled, environmentally friendly and boasts significant efficiency gains over older stoves. What more could you ask for?

While we appreciate the cylindrical style of the Kassel stove may not be to everyone's taste, this is an eye-catching machine. The contemporary look, the enlarged viewing area, where you can watch the flickering flames and the burning embers, create a very relaxing ambience. There is nothing better than firing up your Kassel multifuel stove, laying back and chilling out. If you have yet to consider a contemporary style stove such as the Kassel woodburning stove, you will probably have many questions. Please feel free to contact us by telephone or email and we will do our best to help you.
