Stove companies such as Hunter have been extremely sensible and focused in their approach to the gas stove market. For example, the Hunter Avalon 4 Gas stove is obviously based on the Hunter Avalon 4 wood/multifuel variation which has been very popular for the company. So, if the look and feel of a particular stove does well, then why not extend the fuel types available. Even though the gas stove market has been around for some time it is one which many people very quickly discount as old-fashioned. However, if you take a look at modern day gas stoves you will see they are very different and have certainly come a long way in a short space of time.
The beauty with a traditional looking stove such as the Hunter Avalon 4 Gas stove is the fact it is at home in both a contemporary and traditional environment. Very often purchased as a useful source of heat but also the centre point of any room, this machine is just as comfortable in the corner subtly warming your guests. The look, the feel and the atmosphere created is reminiscent of a wood/multifuel machine and indeed until you get very close it is difficult to tell the difference. This gas stove comes with a log effect display area where the flickering flames will catch your attention. It is also available in both natural gas and LPG forms which is another reflection of how seriously the stove companies are taking the gas stove market today.
