THE STOVAX STOCKTON RANGE

The Stovax Stockton Range

Without even looking at the details of the Stockton range of woodburning and multifuel stoves, it is not difficult to see that they are based upon the old world look which is so popular today. It is this old world feel which basically suits any style of home whether contemporary, traditional or a mixture of the two. While the vast majority of Stockton stoves seem to take centre place and become the focal point of any room, they are just as much at home in the corner as a subtle conversation starter.

When you bear in mind there are 10 different types of stoves in the Stockton stove range the simple fact is that whatever heating capacity or style you are looking for, there will most certainly be something to catch your eye.

Stockton 3 stove

While effectively the baby of the Stockton stove range, the Stockton three stove continues to be very popular in the UK. It will fit very neatly into a standard sized UK fireplace measuring 22" x 16" although it is also as much at home in a summer house, garden workshop or one of the ever popular canal boats. Houseboats in particular have become a very lucrative and very popular marketplace for the Stockton 3 stove which comes in an array of different colours including matt black, metallic blue, metallic brown and metallic green.

Stockton 4 stove

The Stockton 4 is available as a multifuel or woodburning stove and while a little more powerful than the Stockton three stove, offering heat capacity of 4 kW, it is one of those particular models perfect for the standard British fireplace. However it is also as much at home located in the corner of your room as a subtle conversation starter. As you will see from the picture, it is very much in the style and look of the old world woodburning/multifuel stoves with an extended viewing panel so that you are able to watch the flickering flames and the burning embers.

Stockton 5 stove

In comparison to the Stockton 3 stove and the Stockton 4 stove, the Stockton five stove is a much wider model which is probably more of a focal point than the smaller Stockton stoves. As with the majority of Stockton stoves, this particular model is also available in woodburning and multifuel which is perhaps yet another reason why it is proving to be very popular.

As the name suggests, the heat output capacity of this particular model is around 5 kW and it is worth noting this stove is approved for smoke controlled areas. As the government looks to expand the number of smoke controlled areas throughout the UK this is an element of the modern-day woodburning/multifuel stove which will become ever more important.

Conclusion

While many people seem to look towards the more contemporary, more modern styled woodburning/multifuel stoves, the Stockton range takes in the latest technology, improved durability while still maintaining that old world look. To many people a woodburning or a multifuel stove should have that "old world look", a look which is also very prominent in the remainder of the Stockton stove range which we will be covering in future articles.
