This reduces\u00a0the job getting\u00a0additional moisture from the ground and also helps stop any mold or insects getting into the wood.<\/p>\n<p>Secondly, stack your firewood in a way so that air can circulate in-between them and the wind can help dry them out.<\/p>\n<p>Thirdly, keep the wood dry by either covering with a suitable sheet or by building a log storage cover. You don't want the rain getting to the firewood.<\/p>\n<p>And finally, pick a good location to ensure it\u00a0gets the sun but is protected from the rain.
