The new flexifuel system (patent pending) allows you to use the fuel of your choice without ompromising on the efficiency of the stove. So whether you use solid fuel or wood the stove will always be efficient and more economical on fuel as well as being kinder to the environment. <\/p>\n<p>The new stoves with the flexifuel system all have flexigrates. These are ergonomically designed to reduce the gaps between the bars so embers don't drop through unburnt into the ash pan, thus ensuring all the fuel is burnt. Yet, when burning solid fuel the flexigrate bars allow s enough air to pass through to produce efficient combustion and heat. The bars are designed so the fuel is constantly being fed into the centre of the grate so all the fuel can be burnt.<\/p>\n<p>It allows a natural build up of ash to allow the fire to burn more efficiently as well as protecting the grate from hot embers so helping to extend the life of the grate. The flexigrate bars are contoured so it provides a deep wood burning base so more wood can be loaded into the firebox.
