As the name suggests, the Yeoman CL8 Wood & Multi-fuel Stove<\/a> is the larger of the Yeoman CL stove range although it does still maintain the style and presence of the signature range. The basic version is a wood-burning stove although there is a multifuel kit which will allow you to burn anthracite, smokeless fuels and peat turfs. It is not difficult to see why the Yeoman CL8 stove is so popular, it is visually impressive, has a clean burn combustion system and an air wash to ensure your glass viewing screen is clean at all times.<\/p>\n

Yeoman CL8 stove technical specifications<\/h2>\n

As we touched on above, this is the largest stove in the Yeoman CL stove range with a nominal heat output of 8 kW (4 kW to 11 kW). The dimensions are width 563 mm, height 596 mm with a depth of 385 mm. The wood-burning variation weighs in at 105 kg and the multifuel stove is slightly heavier at 114 kg. The efficiency rating is a very impressive 81% – this is around three times that of a standard coal fire which puts it into perspective.<\/p>\n

The stove has an Energy Efficiency Class A ranking and there is also an optional boiler system for those who want to heat water as well. There is an added safety aspect with the stainless steel self-locking handle and the stove has a 6 inch flue with a rear or top outlet option.<\/p>\n

Focal point of your room<\/h2>\n

As you would expect, the stove is slightly higher but significantly wider than the popular Yeoman CL5 Wood<\/a> & Multi-fuel Stove in order to accommodate larger logs. The look is one of traditional but the rounded edges and enlarged glass viewing area given a touch of the contemporary. As with many of the Yeoman stoves, the design is fairly straightforward but eye-catching, although for many it is the combustion technology which makes this stove standout.<\/p>\n

The latest combustion technology ensures that not only is the fuel burnt but the resulting gases are reignited thereby reducing emissions and increasing efficiency. We live in an age where less efficient stoves will likely be withdrawn from the market at some point as the regulations become ever tighter. The likes of Yeoman have been working on improved efficiencies and reduced emissions for some time now, to the benefit of stove enthusiasts.<\/p>\n

A unique ambience<\/h2>\n

It is fair to say that unless you have sampled the ambience created by a wood-burning\/multifuel stove you don\u2019t know what you are missing. Many people describe it as a \u201cdeep seated heat\u201d which is all-encompassing and creates a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. There is nothing better than to sit back, kick-off those shoes and enjoy a relaxing snooze in the warming atmosphere.<\/p>\n
