It provides you with some amazing benefits to you and your bank account. Here are the top ten reasons as to why you should burn wood as an alternative to oil and fuel burners.

1. Renewable energy source

Wood is a natural resource which is naturally grown, so you do not run out of it. You can honestly say that you can never run out of wood to keep you warm and cosy on those chilly nights.

2. There is no global warming

When you are using oil, petrol or some sort of processed fuel for your fire the carbon dioxide emissions pollute the air which is obviously not beneficial for the environment. Naturally burning a renewable source grown from the earth itself will not pollute the earth.

3. It saves money

Lighting a stove only requires a match and some wood, no flick of a switch or electricity use, all completely natural. The most expensive thing you’d need to pay for (apart from the stove itself) is a box of matches and possibly wood depending on whether you cut your own or not.

4. It warms you up much quicker than any other heat source

It instantly burns and heats up right away. If it’s electrical you need to allow it to heat up gradually. If you want the quickest way to get get warm, a burning wood stove is the way forward.

5. Set the romantic scene

Sounds a bit strange, but there’s nothing better than a romantic evening with the mood being set with a luxurious wood burning stove.

7.
