The Saltfire ST-X5 Multifuel Stove is the mid-range product in the Saltfire ST-X Multifuel Stove range offering heat output of 5 kW. These machines have been precision made after an extended period of development which has created a range of ultraclean burning stoves. The efficiency rating is around 82% which more than holds its own with any of the more expensive models on the market today. The large firebox has increased capacity, the machine is eco-design compliant and creates minimal omissions. We also know that it is DEFRA approved which means it can be used in any area of the UK including those with strict smoke control zones.
It is not very often you see a company going above and beyond the requirements for issues such as DEFRA approval but this is exactly what Saltfire Stoves have done. The precision welded thick steel body is far thicker than legally required and the extended viewing window perfectly highlights the afterburner system which is unique to this particular range of stoves. The dimensions of the Saltfire ST-X5 Multifuel Stove come in at height 615 mm, width 460 mm with a depth of 370 mm and it weighs approximately 90 kg.
The flue size is 5 inch (125 mm) with an internal firebox width of 340 mm and a depth of 255 mm. The maximum log size is 12 inches (255 mm) which together with the afterburn system creates a very relaxing vision.
